In fairy tales, people are often on the hunt for the elixir of everlasting youth. How easy it would be to just buy a bottle of juice that will make you drink yourself youthful and beautiful? Although I’m a very sceptic person, I must say that I was really intrigued to try this “elixir of beauty” and see whether it keeps what it promises. Luckily, I have been sent a month supply of the drink to try and test out for you. So for the next 4 weeks, I will keep you guys updated on how I liked the drink, if there are any results to be seen and whether it’s worth the money or not.

So far so good. I think the fact that the positive effects of this drink have been proven by several international, scientific studies is quite impressive, so I’m really looking forward to trying it now.

Besides this, the complex of active ingredients have different effects:

Today I had self-made egg pasta on freshly made tomato sauce with corn and tofu strips. Have you ever tried tofu in your pasta? It’s such a great alternative to bolognese I think.

This is what I ate today: healthy farfalle on a spinach-rocket duet sprinkled with roasted sunflower seeds.

20140103_181158This must me one of the healthiest pasta dishes I ever had because it’s not only with super healthy spinach and rocket salad (everyone needs their leafy green vegs!) but the farfalle are also made out of wholemeal. Oh and it was delicious too 😉

I’m back again from my winter break and promise that I will do my best to stick to my weekly “What I ate Wednesday” and “Fashion Friday” posts. Of course you will also see the odd poem and some posts on the latest beauty trends 2014, so stay tuned 🙂

Dessert Inspiration: 

IMG_2152To be honest, my main course wasn’t really worth a mention or a picture, but this doesn’t bother me at all because the dessert was heavenly. I had a light berry tart with pistachios and self-made cinnamon ice cream on mixed berries, mango and fig with fresh, warm plums. The spicy taste of the cold cinnamon ice cream combined with the cozy warmth of the plums make this a really nice and healthy dessert idea, especially for winter. Made by my lovely mum ♥

It’s autumn again-what a pretty season! Colourful leaves are falling from the trees which are softly swaying in the wind. Children collect brown chestnuts hiding under the leaves and carve faces into bright orange pumpkins. When you get inside the room, everything smells just like autumn- the pumpkin-cinnamon candle, the smell of leaves and the forest and of course a freshly baked pumpkin pie.

You see, I just love this season 🙂 Today, I stole a huge pumpkin from the fields close to where I live, so me and my mum made this delicious, creamy pumpkin soup and a salad with grilled pumpkin slices. Have you tried anything with pumpkin yet?

Today, I had a fresh rocket salad and lamb’s lettuce with cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese and champignon mushrooms on a vinegar dressing.

For dessert, I had some home-made blueberry pancakes by my mom with fresh blueberries from our own garden 🙂 So yummy (and full of antioxidants 😉 ) !!

This is what I ate today: It was a very hot day again: Green lettuce with honey roasted sunflower seeds and yoghurt dressing, red bell peppers, beef tomato on balsamic vinegar drizzle and a delicious “green Schnitzel” with champignon mushrooms. A vegetarian, light summer meal full of vitamines and proteins- and it was really yummy too 😉
